Project Features
What is CAT III?
A category of a Precision Approach Landing System that allows a Decision Height for approach to be made at 125m
Current YPPH Operations are an Instrument Precision Approach CAT I which requires a Decision Height at 550m
This in am Infrastructure sense means:
- Approach Lighting System with a 300m cross bar and centre line barrettes
- REL at 60m spacing's Inc. MIRL and HIRL Options
- Taxiway centre line lights at 60m on straights and 15m curves
6,500 Services potholed and No Service Strikes
80,000 Man Hours No LTI's
